Anti aging skin care products that actually do as they promise can be very difficult to find. I know I have tried my fair share with many disappointing moments. Looking for products that will actually perform as they promise can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Here are some tips on finding anti aging skin care products that delivers on their promise to turn back the clock and give you beautiful, vibrant skin.
1. Ingredients matters
Yes, whether you want to believe it or not the ingredients that goes into a product is very essential to the effectiveness of that product. Look only for natural products that contain a high concentration of natural ingredients.
Many products claim to have natural ingredients; however the concentration is so minuscule they don’t make a difference. The natural ingredients should be at the top of the ingredients list if you want to make sure they will work. Ingredients should be able to penetrate the skin and help to restore collagen and elastin which are essential skin nutrients. As you age your skin produces less of the essential nutrients that make it firm and elastic. You want to replenish these as naturally as possible, therefore look for specific ingredients that are able to do so.
2. Fighting the Real Cause of Aging on the Skin
Any anti aging skin care products you choose to use should be able to fight the 3 Main causes of aging on the skin. The 3 main culprits of aging skin are:
1. Loss of collagen and elastin
2. Lower levels of hyaluronic acids as you age
3. Oxidation caused by free radicals
Your anti aging skin care products should contain collagen boosting ingredients, should be able to help restore higher level of hyaluronic acids and be filled with antioxidants to fight free radicals and prevent damage to skin cells and protein fibers.
3. Be Free of Contaminants and Harmful chemicals
To protect your skin you should avoid using products that contain harsh chemicals. Think about it, why would you want to use products that will potentially do more harm to your skin than help it. It is important to look carefully at the ingredients and avoid any chemical. Some of the chemicals used in many skin care products on the market today are: alcohol, parabens, fragrance, dioxane, toulene, triclosan and mineral oil. Your skin is very sensitive therefore try to avoid using any product that will cause any type of breakout or discoloration. Mineral oil clogs your pores and will cause skin breakouts. I have found that using a natural cleanser that contains natural kiwi fruit and manuka honey will revive, and defend your skin against all the dirt and grime that is thrown at it during the daytime.
Kiwi Fruit: Protects skin cells against free radicals with its high level of antioxidant. Free radical causes premature aging, so fighting against it will help keep your skin looking younger, nourished and vibrant. This special kiwi fruit extract also helps your skin to retain moisture giving it a smooth, plump look and softer touch.
Natural Manuka Honey: Is rich in vitamins and natural nutrients. Contains high antibacterial properties which prevent breakouts such as acne. Manuka honey is a special medicinal grade honey made from bees that collect the nectar of the manuka bush – only found in New Zealand. When I say medical grade, I mean that it’s incredibly nutrient rich, antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti inflammatory – but without side effects! Normal honey has these properties too, but it’s nothing compared to manuka honey.
Manuka honey can be taken internally for all sorts of problems, but it’s also fantastic stuff to use directly on the skin as a facial mask.
I have been my own guinea pig on testing many different products and even though it has cost me quite a bit of money, I decided I wanted to ensure any product I recommend will deliver on its promise. I have found the Xtend Life Line of anti aging skin care products will do just that for you. They are natural so no need to worry about harmful chemicals and the ingredients are natural enough they can be eaten.
You can remove all fears and use these products. I promise you will be happy to look in the mirror each day to see the transformation taking place.
You can also make your own manuka honey scrub. Here is the ingredients and steps to making your own honey scrub.

1 teaspoon almond oil
Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of manuka honey
